USA Today Mentions SaveBrett.net, Mistakenly Credits Wrong Founders
A few hours ago USA Today did a nice story on the success of our petition. We now have over 14,500 signers and today the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel described us as the "largest petition to bring back Favre." We also recently presented our signatures to the Green Bay Packers last Friday with camera crews from three TV stations in tow.
Unfortunately, the article mistakenly credits the founders of a different Favre-related website with the results of our work. The founders who were mentioned as creating SaveBrett.net are actually the brothers who have organized the weekly rallies at Lambeau Field.
An avid SaveBrett.net fan brought this error to our attention, added a comment to the article with the correct information, and also submitted a correction notice to USA Today. Thanks Tammy!
Add your voice to the growing roar of support for Brett Favre. For the good of the game help make sure that Brett Favre is not mistreated by the Green Bay Packer management.
USA Today has reported on SaveBrett.net for the second time in as many days. Click here to read the additional coverage.

I give you guys props for putting this together. Honestly, I don't think the administration will do anything based on it. But as a fan base, I like the togetherness. Hopefully this comes out peacefully. Did anyone else notice Jon Lynch and Denver separated nicely yesterday? I guess they learned from Green Bay.
WOW you mean to say the success of the Rolfson brothers- they have been tirelessly working will you came in AFTER THE fact ! you should be ashamed of yourself copy cat!
Hi Judy,
Unfortunately, there has been a lot of confusion between our effort and the Rolfson brothers. As you know they created a website related to their rallies at Lambeau Field. On the same day we created our website related to our online petition, bus tour, and billboard.
We link to their site about the rallies and they link to our site about the petition. We have had a very separate but collaborative relationship. The confusion that is now occurring has to do with the fact that the Rolfsons recently added a petition to their site. Thus the USA Today error. We, however, have not created any competing rallies.
I hope this clears up the confusion for you.
