BREAKING NEWS

It appears that our SaveBrett.net Movement including our petition effort and bus tour are beginning to yield big dividends.  Just yesterday Tony Mars sent Brett Favre's agent - Bus Cook - a cover letter and link to the SaveBrett.net petition, as well as as a link to the U.S. 41 billboard story.

Having now far surpassed 10,000 petition signatures, Tony's email to Bus was intended to show Brett just how loved and welcomed he is in Green Bay. Within 24 hours of Tony's letter Brett Favre filed his letter of reinstatement with the NFL.

On Friday of last week Tony presented the Green Bay Packers with over 400 printed pages containing over 6,000 petition signatures and at times lengthy and eloquent pleas from fans who want to see Brett stay in Green Bay.  Within 4 days of receiving the petition signatures head coach Mike McCarthy is now saying that Brett "will be welcomed back into our locker room."

Our petition is working!  We are having an effect on both the thinking and public actions of Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers.  At the end of the day the fans cannot be ignored.

Our mission has never been clearer or more urgent.  For the good of the game Packer fans, Favre fans, and football fans everywhere must speak up now to ensure that a genuine American hero is treated properly by Green Bay Packer management.
