Green Bay Press-Gazette Publishes Story About the SaveBrett.net Movement

Today the Green Bay Press-Gazette and Appleton Post-Crescent are reporting on the SaveBrett.net Movement and helping to get the word out about our petition.  We now have over 2,400 signatures and since today's coverage signatures have been coming in fast and steady.

Our goal is to try to reach 4,000 signatures by next Thursday, July 24th so email everyone you know with a link to http://www.SaveBrett.net and ask them to sign the petition.  You are required to put your full name on the petition but you can list yourself as "Anonymous" publicly if you're shy.

Have you signed the petition yet?  Sign the petition now and tell the Green Bay Packers to put business squabbling aside and let Brett Favre return to his rightful place as starting quarterback in 2008-09.

It's obvious TT has become blinded by his own super inflated ego.

I am going to find that site as soon as I get this done. TT is the one who has started all this with his hate for Brett. His inflated ego has gotten the best of him. He won't be here long!!! Pat/Green Bay

Tim Brown confirmed what others know: the Packers didn't want Brett Favre last season. Is that why Brett announced his retirement - by coercion? Was he squeezed out, but saved face for the Packers by announcing his retirement? It was written on the face of Deanna.

I think TT and company thought Brett Favre had to much power and were and are trying to railroad him out of town!!!!! They're running the club like a company moving to mexico. bu nch of silly excuses all the time.no real answers. They didnt like brett wanting to get some better players around him. then brett pulls off a great season and their like oh no what now we will have to keep him.so they preasure him into this retirement thing and the nightmare begins. Just my take on all this its a power struggle just like in big biz or politics

It's too bad that we have had TT and MMc and not Brett. I am an artist at www.artbymarilyn.etsy.com and I will be painting Brett but it will be sad.

I won't be watching the Packers anymore. Boo to Aron Rogers who couldn't have the generosity to let Bret play just one more year. You are no Brett Aron. You may be okay if you had a chance to learn more from Brett but you had to have your way.

Let's now get a petition to fire TT and MMc and that would be good. Even Tiger Woods says they too MJ back. What is their problem. I believe I saw Aron intercepted 7 times out of 20 for the scrimmage. We want Brett back.

Great saddness in my heart.
It's to bad that TT think he's better off without Brett. TT and MM should quit acting like they are the victims in all this.
You are very bad men that have broken a lot of hearts and have zero respect for a man that made the Packer's as great as they are!!!
Brett also did more for charities then any of you men will or have ever done if you put all of you together!!
For Shame on you all!!!!

Good Luck Brett!!

It is just disgraceful that packer fans who are horrible alcoholics and severely overwieght have to voice their opinions about something that they clearly know nothing about. But that seems to be what straggly, unkept, pathetic women seem do to now...isn't it? Take some pride in yourself..because you are a disgrace to this page, county, and family. Become a productive member of society, get a treadmill, and maybe take a shower..then maybe you can comment on a page like this. You know who you are...greasy, mousy, stringy brown haired, fat assed, embarrassment to the state of Michigan and to this web site.

There have to be Packer fans out there with common sence? I know many. I only know one fat slobby one that is just very unkept, sloppy, hunched over,a horrible alcoholic, terrible parent role model, and a disgrace to the women of Northern Wisconsin/Upper Michigan. Maybe you should just move on and stop desecrating this fine page.
